Mother Teresa Medical Foundation has been formed with the sole aim to provide quality medical care affordable to all which remains as mirage for the under privileged communities. The Foundation, following the footsteps of St. Mother Teresa, in its humble way strives its best to serve the sick with a touch of personal care and devotion.

- To provide proper updated medical care to the people on charity basis following the principles and policies of our Patron St. Mother Teresa.
- To offer medical services to hard-to-reach populations
- To reduce urban rural divide by serving the rural communities who have less access to healthcare than those in urban communities.
- To serve migrant and seasonal agricultural workers and their families through mobile clinics.
- To draw contingent plan under the guidance of experts to combat epidemics.
- To establish well-equipped blood bank.
- To render guidance and counseling by trained counselors.

Mother Teresa Foundation was established in 2002 under Indian Trust Act in Thanjavur, Tamilnadu, India blossomed in the minds of its founder who has committed himself in serving the humanity works for the welfare of the underprivileged communities irrespective of caste, creed, language and religion.
We believe that Human beings should live in love and peace. Embarks on the Noble Mission to spread love among the poor and to achieve extraordinary improvements in human life by promoting the well-being of humanity in all aspects. Fulfilling the physical, psychological, economical and educational needs of orphans/semi-orphans with parental care irrespective of caste, creed, colour and religion to ensure a bright future.
Mother Teresa Education Program
Building our youth for the future
Providing full scholarship for academically proficient but economically backward students to vigorously pursue their academic aspirations. It covers 12 states in India and providing assistance for over 1000 students on an average per year since 2010.

Established in 2019to commemorate the 109th birth anniversary of St. Mother Teresa to perpetuate joy, peace and security for senior citizens.

(free meal program)
Aim for zero hunger
Providing free meal daily to over 500 poor attendees of the inpatients treated in Thanjavur, Medical College Hospital.
